NV Energy is asking the state to charge 9 percent more for electricity — about $15 a month for the average customer.

The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada will hold two public hearings on this rate case this week in Las Vegas as follows:
- Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada, Hearing Room A, located at 9075 West Diablo Drive, Suite 250, Las Vegas, NV 89148
- Wednesday, June 4, at 6 p.m. at the Clark County Commission Chambers, located at 500 South Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89106
For those who can’t attend the consumer sessions, written comments can be sent via mail.
